Dear Mr. Monkiewicz:

I believe you know who I am, so I will move directly to the point of my writing.

Since I came forward twenty‑seven years, the senior board members of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston and their cohorts, like you, have enjoined a great number of people to help them defeat my efforts to prove what happened to me in 1963 at the Charlestown clubhouse. But that failed, and I succeeded in proving what happened to me. Then, in January 2020, Suffolk County DA Rachael Rollins opened an investigation into the allegations.

The resulting fermentation of ill will, which I place squarely on the lawyers managing the case, has worked to make my life generally unlivable. For instance, I cannot use a cell phone, or email, or even the US Mail; I cannot run a small business; nor can I expect any privacy anywhere under any circumstances. I am followed whenever I go out, although they do a good job keeping it covert these days, which is some consolation, I suppose. But generally, my life has become unlivable. This was by design and unwavering, totally ruthless intent. In fact, I truly believe that the goal all along for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston has been not just my undoing, but even better, my suicide. And the record already shows that they did, in fact, make death threats against me directly from the Charlestown Boys Club on January 2004.

Now the time has come to start exposing these extremely malignant conspiracies, so, I begin with you — because your antics are the most obvious and easiest to prove.

In 2003, an individual named Rudi Schwab contacted me after he said he came across my dissident website documenting my allegations that I had been kidnapped and brutally raped at the Charlestown Boys Club in 1963 alongside about a dozen other boys. Mr. Schwab offered to support me by making a documentary about me, provided he got to see everything I had in the way of evidence, which is explicitly what he stated to me while he and I ate lunch at the Bertucci’s Restaurant at Quincy Market in 2003, just as this covert operation against me was beginning to wind down. Mr. Schwab told me that he needed to see “everything.” Fortunately, at that time, I did not have much to show him because all my discoveries came later. But then, when I was done showing him what I had, Mr. Schwab simply stopped calling me, as if he had died, like that.

Back then, at the time of our contact in 2003, Rudi Schwab was a founding partner, producer, and director for Element Productions in Allston. In fact, Rudi Schwab and Element Productions have produced commercials for your company, Kayem, most notably a commercial titled “Celebrate Something – Day” (c. 2010).

I am now going public on two websites, CharlestownBoysClub.org and JamesChester.org, with allegations stating that you persuaded Mr. Schwab to feign support for me for the sole purpose of obtaining information I may have had to support my allegations against the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston, on whose board you were a member then, in 2003, and remain still, today.

If true, my allegations infer that the entire board of directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston, not just its four most senior members, are acting out of malice against me in order to injure and discredit me as a direct result of my coming forward to Frances Moseley on September 16, 1996.

If you wish to deny these allegations, please note my address at the top of this letter, not the return address on the outside of the envelope.

Sincerely,

 James Chester
